I got this sweater handed down to me from my mom and it just doesn't fit me right. Mostly the neck is a little larger then I would like. I love the color and it is really soft and flowy material so I am going to transform this

into this-

LOVE this cardigan from J. Crew.
Stay tuned to see the outcome...I'm really excited!

Pleats, Pockets and Pinstripes
I just made this really cute "tulip" skirt. I saw a really cute skirt that inspired me off of Anthropology. So here is my rendition.

I scored this really cute fabric at JoAnn's for just under $6 and the cost of the pattern was 99 cents.
Cant beat that!
The directions for the pattern sucked so I ended up just kinda doin my own thing and this is what I got.

I don't think I will try to put pockets in a skirt again... It caused me A LOT of grief! and took me a long time.
Here is to pinstripes!

Super Cheap Decor
Living life with a student budget is kinda hard, you always want to have the latest and greatest stuff and have the cutest decorations in your house. I have seen so many things that I have wanted, but don't feel comfortable spending a lot of money on. That is where being the slightest bit crafty has come into play.
Have you see the HUGE wall clocks before? Yea kinda expensive....not anymore! I made this baby for $15. $15 vs. $150 can you believe it!

And I got to customize it to the color I want and everything. (I am planning on repainting it here soon..its on my to do list. Just haven't made up my mind on the color yet. Any suggestions?
The next thing I made was this cute vinyl glass picture.

I was checkin out the damaged goods in Jo'Anns one day and found the frame for $4. Not one scratch on it, the only thing that was wrong was the glass was missing. I bought a piece of glass for $3.78 so I have a 15X30 frame for just over $7. I bought this vinyl saying which was originally $12 BUT I had a 50% coupon so I got it for $6. All in all this piece cost about $14.

LOVE IT!

Here's to RUFFLES!
I made this shirt for $6 which was the price of actual shirt. I made the ruffles out of an old shirt that I was gonna trash cuz of a stain. Cant beat that can ya! It also went pretty quick and was pretty easy.
I also made this shirt in purple. This was my first go around with the style. It took quite a bit longer cuz I had to make the shirt from scratch. It is alot easier to just buy a shirt.
