Pleats, Pockets and Pinstripes

I just made this really cute "tulip" skirt. I saw a really cute skirt that inspired me off of Anthropology. So here is my rendition.

I scored this really cute fabric at JoAnn's for just under $6 and the cost of the pattern was 99 cents.
Cant beat that!
The directions for the pattern sucked so I ended up just kinda doin my own thing and this is what I got.

I don't think I will try to put pockets in a skirt again... It caused me A LOT of grief! and took me a long time.

Here is to pinstripes!

I LOVE IT! I am like addicted to crafty blogs... seriously addicted to them. I am so in need of a few cheap wedding gifts I can make a bunch of and give them away... we are in the middle of wedding season and I might go broke if I dont figure out a gift that is my trade mark!

Trisha you are so very talented! You should think about selling something like this. Like on Etsy or something. I'm not talented enough to do something like this myself, but I would definitely buy it!
